ZAGATA'S “QUITTE OU DOUBLE”: A SINGLE THAT ANNOUNCES AN ALBUM OF THE SAME NAME
Zagata is back with “Quitte ou Double”, a song about those moments when a couple wonders whether it's better to let go... or bet everything. A lucid and touching single, it deals with the ups and downs and the desire to pick up the pieces rather than go their separate ways.
In terms of sound, “Quitte ou Double” strikes a balance between electro-pop and a more raw, urban edge, two styles in which he has already proven himself. For the creation of this track, Zagata surrounded himself with Luca Liberatore (Billie DuPage, Marie-Mai) on production and Ghislain Brind'Amour (Anora) on mixing and mastering. These two talents are behind his latest hit “Take Me Away”, which topped the English and French radio charts in Quebec last summer.
With its half-French, half-English choruses, “Quitte ou Double” touches the heart. Zagata lays her cards on the table, straightforwardly, with accuracy and emotion.
The song is also the title track of Zagata's next album, scheduled for release on October 10, 2025.
