LUCILL: A MUSIC VIDÉO FOR L’INCONNU

Last February, Lucill released Snake Eyes, a second album full of soaring tracks with a luminous edge and an introspective heart. The song "L'inconnu" is no exception. Recorded at Studio Wild, the track is distinctly raw, as it was captured live take in full band mode.
The clip that accompanies it was shot in Rivière-Bleue, in Témiscouata. Lucill evolves in different places, in loop, the camera follows his steps. A feeling of eternal repetition.

Created with a process of rotoscopy, from photos in burst, which gives the illusion of mobility, the clip is a mixture of animation (of fiction) and reality. The transposition of an escape, a flash in Lucill's imagination, an awareness that will perhaps force the movement. Directed and designed by Phoebé Folco with the help of William Gagné for the photo direction and editing, the result is hypnotizing.
