Quebec, March 10, 2026 – Laurence Castera releases today “La saison est finie,” a final raw and captivating preview ahead of her third album.
The song explores that suspended moment that follows the end of a meaningful experience. After closing a moving book, finishing a tour, leaving a beloved place, or living through a moment of great happiness, a silence settles in. “La saison est finie” captures the emptiness created by the end of all things.
Recorded entirely live at Salomé Leclerc’s space at Studio Latraque, the track has the feel of a jam session among friends, and that’s exactly what it is. What began as a simple end-of-day demo quickly became a favorite and naturally found its place on the album. If you listen closely, you might even hear a train passing near the studio in the recording.
This single is the last preview before the album Les choses qui nous liaient, which will be available on April 21, 2026.
