ALICE BRO PRESENTS HER FIRST ALBUM « 100 FILTRES »
Quebec, February 6, 2026 - Alice Bro finally arrives with 100 Filters, her very first album, diving straight into her cheeky folk funk sound and everything that defines her signature.
100 Filters brings together songs written over several years, old ideas that were waiting for the right moment, and new songs that landed almost by accident, as often happens with her. It is an album that carries the everyday life of an artist who feels deeply and turns her stories into something simple and honest, without trying to put on a persona.
The sound stays true to what happens on stage. Banjo, double bass, viola, piano, keyboards, a bit of drums, and above all that gang like energy that is an essential part of her work.
The album features festive tracks like “Six pack” and “Dodo Bangbang,” capturing nights filled with loud laughter, unapologetic slip ups, and the joy of moving forward together. On the other end of the spectrum, songs like “Blonde à personne” and “Nicachet” let something more vulnerable come through. Then there are tracks like “Et pis ça r’part,” which reconnect with her early twenties, when she was not quite sure where she was headed. That period comes back in the song with disarming honesty, carried by a harmonica solo that tastes like wind in your face.
100 Filters feels alive and warm, sometimes a little rough around the edges, often funny, sometimes tender. It feels like sitting in her kitchen, listening to her talk about her day over a coffee that is too strong or a post shift beer. An album that does not try to impress, just to be real, and that does exactly that.
